Buying without making an account

There is no sign up on this site. No password, no email verification, no dashboard. You pick a plan, you pay, you get a link. This page explains what that means in practice, and where the limits of it are.

Why there is nothing to sign into

An account exists to hold state between visits, and the only state your order has is its status, which lives at a URL. Your order is eight characters. Keep the link or keep the code and you can check on it from any device without proving who you are. Nobody can look up your order without that code, and the code is random enough that guessing is not a realistic attack.

The side effect is that we hold no credential of yours, so there is nothing of yours to leak in a breach. We could not reset your password because there is not one.

The one thing we do need

An email address. A gift subscription is delivered as a redemption link and it has to arrive somewhere. If you would rather that address not be your main one, a forwarding alias works fine, and plenty of people use one. We do not verify it, so check it carefully before you submit: a typo means the link goes to a stranger.

What Anthropic sees

This is worth being straight about. Redeeming the gift creates an account at Anthropic under whatever email you redeem it with, subject to their terms. Our side of the transaction is anonymous. Theirs is a normal signup, and nothing we do changes that. If you want distance there, redeem to an address that is not tied to your name.

Coming back later

Your order page stays live indefinitely. Order codes do not expire, so a link you bookmarked months ago still resolves. If you lose both the link and the code, the recovery route is the email address you gave us, which is the only thing connecting you to the order on our side.
